*****Yes, today’s special guest character is Jenny, my fiancé. Yes, she made it
into the comic well before several members of the Ren Club even though she has
never been one herself. Before anyone complains (and I’m sure that they will),
please understand two things: that a) I’m not going to be marrying you; and b)
while she may not have made an appearance in your lives until recently, she and I
have known each other and maintained a friendship since the sixth grade. I’ve only
known most of you since college. She trumps you. Accept it.
*****So, I was up at the storage unit this afternoon, rearranging all of our stuff
when I happened upon something I had completely forgotten existed. I found the
very first ever piece of Ren Rats merchandise. This relic dates way back to 2003
and the first incarnation of Ren Rats. It’s a coffee mug, ordered from the store as
a present from my dad, and featuring the original drawings of the cast. I was
pretty excited that I found it, though it needs to be washed something fierce.
*****I have finally made progress on the Photo Album! Google has finally yielded
positive results in my search for the proper HTML code for what I was trying to
do. It’s not exactly what I had in mind, but its close enough that I’m satisfied. It
still needs a little work, though. The code needs to be tweaked here and there, but
I’m hopeful. I still can’t make any guarantees, but if I manage to find the right
combinations within the code and the time to apply them, you may see a completed
Photo Album up and running as early as next week!
*****However, to tide everyone over until I can get that working, I have made a
few other updates to the site. The Cast section has had two more pages added to
it. If you head in that direction, you’ll find the links have been activated for the
Cameos and Locations pages. Looking back, I don’t know why it took me so long
to put them together. I did it the other night in less than an hour.
*****Other updates on under way, so keep an eye out on the site for entries that
weren’t there before. I’ll keep you all posted on my progress.
