*****Apparently, in the Ren Rats world, all cops and security guards are required to
have bad 70’s mustaches. I suddenly feel the urge to watch Super Troopers again.
*****I promised last week that I would make an effort to keep the strips shorter from
now on. I may have been taking it to the extreme in this case, but no one can claim I
didn’t keep my promise. Perhaps, in the future, it could stand to be a bit longer, but I
really liked this one. I need to do more strips where the Medieval way of life and
modern life collide. This doesn’t happen nearly often enough, even in reality.
*****I’ve also been toying around with new graphics for the site. I’m not planning
any major changes, but a few additions and adjustments here and there. Specifically, I’
m planning a complete overhaul of the Photo Album. I will also be adding a new
section to the Features page soon…hopefully. It really depends how much free time I
have. But with my spring break coming up next week, who knows? I may get lucky.
There may even be some new items in the Store if the mood strikes.
*****In other nerdly news, for those who were unaware, Corey Haim passed away
this week…apparently from a drug overdose. I would ask for a show of hands for
who didn’t see that one coming, but I think we all already know the answer to that
question, don’t we? Still, this is truly sad news for movie geeks everywhere. Maybe I
should forego Super Troopers for now and watch The Lost Boys again. I wonder how
Corey Feldman is taking the news, though I doubt he was any less surprised than the
rest of us.
