*****Kutztown University is a state college located in (of all places) Kutztown, PA. It is the
home of the Ren Club, which holds a charter with the school. Many of the Ren Club's members
are active students or alumni, but there are several associate members who don't actually go to
*****The Ren Club is one of the more obscure student-run organizations on campus. On the
whole, most of the student body of Kutztown University tends to ignore the Ren Club whenever
possible, as do the faculty (with a few key exceptions).

*****Alexander's Pub & German Deli is the regular haunt of the Ren Club. They can be found
there every Thursday after their weekly meeting, and sometimes during the summer months, too.
On any other night, it might not be uncommon to hear the sounds of a live band from inside the
bar. On Thursdays, however, you are more likely to hear a sing-along to traditional Celtic folk
songs or pirate sea shanties.
*****The proprietor, Bob, is always happy to welcome the Ren Club. He has been known (on
occasion) to stay open late for them, or even to open the bar when it's supposed to be closed.
As he expands, creating new drinks and specialty sandwiches, the Ren Club are more than
happy to act as his guinea pigs for new recipes. Many a happy evening has been spent hanging
out here, and many stories begin and/or end within.
*****The Tower is a loft apartment located in the demilitarized zone between the good part and
the bad part of Allentown. It is the current residence of Brian and his two roommates, though
many colorful denizens have had their time there. It is also the primary setting for many of the
Ren Rats' parties and gatherings, much to Brian's dismay (despite the fact that he's usually the
one to invite everybody over).
*****The origin of the Tower's title is largely unknown, though Brian claims it was adopted both
with and without his influence. Whether he approved of it or not, however, the name stuck and
many of the other Ren Rats have named their dwellings in a similar style. However, the Tower
stands alone as the social mecca of the local re-enactment community...despite its residents'
numerous bids for privacy.
