*****Prof. Applewood is a member of the faculty at Kutztown University, and is highly
prominent in the music department. For years he has harbored a grudge against the Ren Club
and everyone in it. This vendetta is now almost a decade old, and its origins are all but forgotten.
Most of the Ren Rats who were there when it began have either graduated by now, or moved
on to other things.
*****He has tried many times to get the Ren Club's charter revoked, its members kicked off
campus, and its students expelled. All of his attempts so far have met with utter failure, but he
has not given up the fight. His seething hatred for the Ren Club only seems to get deeper and
deeper. It probably doesn't help that the Club keeps giving him new reasons to hate them or that
they keep thwarting his plans.

*****Ben, Jeff, and Johnny are the worst sort of Mundanes you could run across. They are
ignorant, uncultured, and rude...at best. They have had several run-ins with the Ren Club, in
which they attempt to belittle and embarrass "those freaky nerds in their stupid costumes".
Naturally, the Ren Rats have had no trouble turning the tables on them every time.

demands repayment for a direct insult they have dealt him. A debt which only increases every
time they cross the king's path.

the clutches of the Midrealm. Many other kingdoms and households are allied with the Middle
Kingdom, and the king's minions are everywhere. The gypsies don't know what's in store for
them should they be captured...and they are certainly not willing to find out.
